Norfolk Air schedules more flights
Norfolk Air is to further expand its services to and from Australia. The airline has announced additional services to operate on Fridays as follows:
- From 23rd February: Flights every Friday from Norfolk Island to Sydney and return.
- From 30th March: Continuation of Friday Sydney services as well as regular Friday flights from Norfolk Island to Brisbane and return.
Services on Fridays will commence at 8.00 a.m. From the end of daylight saving in Australia, the first service from Norfolk Island on each flying day - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday - will depart Norfolk Island at 8.00 a.m.
Norfolk Air is fully owned by the Government of Norfolk Island, and operates services to and from Brisbane and Sydney in commercial partnership with OzJet and Qantas.
The Norfolk Island Government has approved the expanded flight services and expects both partners to the codeshare to have the new schedule loaded in their reservations systems by next week.
