Trade Winds Country Cottages are ideally located in a peaceful area of the island, surrounded by 25 acres of farmland. The self-contained cottages are spacious and modern, with large kitchens, open-plan living and dining areas, and generously proportioned decks for enjoying our amazing Norfolk Island climate.

The cottages are located a seven minute drive from the centre of town, while the historic World-Heritage listed Kingston area, beautiful Emily Bay and the golf course are also a few minutes drive.

Norfolk Island offers endless layers of history and culture, a myriad of sights and activities, culinary delights with food bursting with flavour, friendly local people and a sub-tropical climate. Norfolk Island is the perfect holiday choice for visitors of all ages.

Each cottage can be set up as one or two-bedroom, hosting up to 5 people.

The cottages are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Each boasts a generous verandah with an outdoor setting, a fully equipped kitchen, barbeque, laundry with washing machine, ensuite to each bedroom, walk-in robe, toiletries and a hair dryer. The cottages have WiFi,

Our cottages are set in stunning subtropical gardens with views across Norfolk’s famous green pastures towards Mount Pitt.
Trade Winds is an ideal place to escape for that romantic getaway. Or, if you prefer, with four self-contained cottages, each with two huge bedrooms both with ensuites, our cottages are also the perfect place for small groups, or family holidays.

Product Information

1 Bedroom Cottage (incl small auto for up to 2 people)

This cottage has a large bedroom separate from the living room and self-contained kitchen with an ensuite bathroom. The bedroom opens onto the full length verandah and each has a walk-in wardrobe. King beds are standard, however single beds can be arranged to suit guest requirements. Ceiling fans provide additional cooling and in winter the gas heater in the lounge warms the cottage for guest comfort. The full sized kitchen has granite benches with a 4-burner cook top and spacious gas oven. Dishwasher, microwave and full fridge/freezer are provided. The laundry in each cottage contains a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Beach towels, picnic baskets, snorkelling equipment, foldup chairs for birdwatching are available for use, and a barbeque for that dinner at home, as the sun sets. A hire car is supplied for the duration of your stay, and a welcome hamper on arrival of fresh Trade Winds produce.

2 Bedroom Cottage (incl mid-size vehicle up to 4 people)

This cottage has two large bedrooms separate from the living room, a well appointed self-contained kitchen, and an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms open onto the full length verandah and each has a walk-in wardrobe. King beds are standard, however single beds can be arranged to suit guest requirements. Ceiling fans provide additional cooling and in winter the gas heater in the lounge warms the cottage for guest comfort. Cancellation Policy

General Conditions
Please read these conditions carefully, as they apply to all transactions between us and can only be waived or varied in writing signed by us. By checking the box marked “I Agree” or “I Accept”, or otherwise completing a booking reservation with us, you indicate that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these conditions. You acknowledge and agree that:

You understand exactly what is included in the Room and Services and you are satisfied that they are suitable and satisfactory for your requirements;
When you submit a booking through the Site, no agreement is formed until we process and accept your booking and send you confirmation. Your payment does not create a contract. We may change this agreement and /or the way we provide a Room, at any time.
One or more notices in a Room you have booked or around the Premises may contain information or our requirements as to procedures and behaviour. By accepting this agreement, you are deemed to have accepted these notices as being incorporated in this agreement.
If you are booking on behalf of others, you have full authority to do so and you accept personal liability for any breach of this contract by any person who comes onto our property.

- 30 days or more before arrival date, a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the total accommodation booking (Room fees+ Services) will be deducted from the deposit paid:

- More than 7 days but less than 30 days before the arrival date, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total accommodation booking (Room fees + Services) will be payable. (Ie no refund will be provided.)
